Q. Why should I have my mail Presorted and Barcoded?
A. Presorting and Barcoding allows you to save money by receiving postage discounts and helps the USPS deliver your mail more quickly and accurately.
Q. Can you presort our mail even if we don't usually print ZIP+4 codes in the addresses?
A. One of the benefits of automation presorting is that our USPS Certified equipment looks up the addresses and applies the correct Barcode while presorting the mail!
Q. What software and equipment do we need so that you can Presort and Barcode our mail?
A. QuickSort has all of the USPS Certified equipment, software and staff needed to accurately and quickly sort and distribute your mail.
Q. Will I need to buy and maintain any presort permits from the USPS?
A. Yet another benefit of our services is that we already have and maintain all the USPS presort permits needed.
Q. Can you help me to determine the best way to design a mailpiece and check it before we get it printed?
A. Get us involved in the initial design and planning stages for your big projects. This enables us to help you plan it right from the start so you end up with the best deliverability and savings possible.
Q: What is Barcoding and why should I use it?
A: Barcoding represents zip code information in graphical format. The zip code is represented by a series of vertical lines that enable a piece of mail to be handled with automatic sorting machines at the post office. Barcoding greatly reduces your postage and increases the speed and accuracy of delivering your mail.
Q: What is an Indicia?
A: An indicia is an imprinted permit designation on a mailpiece that indicates postage payment. It can be used in place of a postage stamp or metered mail. Our clients can use their own or use ours.
Q: What is Postal Presort?
A: The process of preparing mail by sorting pieces destined for the same area so they qualify for postal discounts.
Q: Where is QuickSort located?
A: We have several locations in Northern and Southern California.
